Start Fighting Stubborn Fat with CoolSculpting® Now and Have Your Best Body by Summer – Dr. Goodnigh

Whether you dread getting into a swimsuit because of love handles, back fat, or just have a bit of a bulge in a hard to lose area, one thing is certain: those trouble areas are no match for treatment with CoolSculpting®.

CoolSculpting treatments permanently purge stubborn fat that refuses to go away no matter how much you exercise and watch your calories.

But there’s one catch when it comes to looking great in time for summer: it takes at least three months to see the full results after your CoolSculpting treatment. That’s why we encourage our patients at Dr. Goodnight’s Everlasting Beauty to schedule CoolSculpting treatment now.

While you wait for your CoolSculpting appointment, here’s all the info about what to expect and how you can look forward to eliminating stubborn fat for good.

Reshape your body with CoolSculpting

CoolSculpting treatment contours your body by targeting the specific pockets of fat that just don’t seem to budge. You can look forward to exceptional results as CoolSculpting treatment removes fat in these body areas:

  • Abdomen
  • Love handles (flanks)
  • Bra fat
  • Back fat
  • Upper arms
  • Thighs
  • Along your jawline
  • Under your chin
  • Under your buttocks

When you come in for your consultation with Dr. Goodnight, you can discuss your individual problem areas and design a plan that works for you.

How CoolSculpting eliminates fat

When you choose CoolSculpting, your treatment comes from one of today’s most advanced technologies for permanent fat removal.

The system freezes fat cells, a procedure that delivers exceptional results because fat cells are more sensitive to cool temperatures than your skin. That means we can use treatment with CoolSculpting to freeze fat cells without harming your skin or other surrounding tissues.

After fat cells are frozen, they break down and die. Then your body naturally removes the cellular waste. It’s truly as simple as that.

However, the cells die gradually, and it takes a little time for your body to eliminate the waste. That’s why it takes a few months to see the full results of your treatment and why you need to plan ahead if you want your best body by summer.

What to expect during treatment with CoolSculpting

After you relax on the treatment table, we put a clear gel on your skin over the targeted area, then place the CoolSculpting applicator on top of the gel. The applicator uses gentle suction so the device adheres to your skin and delivers highly controlled cooling. Then the applicator is turned on lowering the temperature just enough to selectively freeze the underlying fat cells.

At first, you’ll feel the cold, as well as the slight tugging sensation as the suction holds the device on your skin. But these sensations disappear after the area becomes numb.

Your session takes about 35 minutes, depending on the area being treated. After we remove the CoolSculpting applicator, we massage the area for a few minutes, and then you can get back to your daily schedule. You may have some redness, swelling, or slight bruising, but these side effects diminish shortly.

How to accelerate your results

We often accelerate the results by performing two skin-tightening procedures, one right after your CoolSculpting session, then a second one a week later. Your skin tightening is done with the noninvasive Venus Concept®, which uses radiofrequency energy to stimulate collagen production and promote tighter, stronger skin.
