Microcannular Tumescent Body Liposuction

Dr. Goodnight has been performing microcannular tumescent body liposuction at his Ridgewood practice since 1999. This form of liposuction is extremely safe, as it does not necessitate the use of general anesthesia or intravenous sedation. Tumescent body liposuction involves the injection of lidocaine (a local anesthetic) and epinephrine into targeted deposits of fat. Through these incisions, Dr. Goodnight uses an extremely small instrument called a microcannula to break apart and suction out the excess fat (which can be used as part of a subsequent fat transfer procedure, if desired).
